About the client

What will you do?
You will be responsible for implementing a new cloud data warehouse, integrating global and regional environments. With the focus of this role is designing an architecture and implementing effective governance strategies.
- Creating, designing, and developing a comprehensive cloud data warehouse architecture. This includes master data management.
- Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to the data engineers in implementing architectural design.
- Manage stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Working closely with multiple stakeholders to identify opportunities for data integration, migration, and optimisation.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience as a data architect, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions. Experience in AWS and Databricks platforms and data modeling techniques. Strong communication skills and understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a global environment with diverse people and data needs.
- Experience in SQL, Databricks, cloud-native databases, data warehouses and big data technologies
- Experience with ETL and ELT process with Databricks
- Experience in data modeling and data integration
